This is what a persona can look like on screen: the same person, recognisable in every scene. These images show Sophia Auenfeld, an AI persona from Vienna. With your persona scan it would be your face – and only with your consent.
Why real people?
AI films are full of faces that don’t exist – and that can still happen to look like someone. jmomo brings real people and productions together: anyone who appears in a film through jmomo is real, has agreed and has a say. For directors and producers, that means faces with cleared rights. For you, a part in a film without a single shooting day.

In a Vienna studio we photograph you from different angles and with different expressions. It takes about 20 minutes and is free of charge.

You find out which project uses your likeness – and what you get for it.
What you decide
Your face stays yours. The licence agreement sets out exactly what is allowed – and what isn’t.

- Extra, supporting role, lead – you choose what you are available for.
- What is off limits
- Violence, nudity, politics or advertising, for example. Your limits go into the contract.
- For how long
- Licences are time-limited. You can withdraw consent for new projects at any time.
- Who sees your photos
- Your photos are never public. Only the casting team has access.
- Labelling
- Films with your likeness are labelled as AI-generated, as EU law requires.
- Deletion
- You can delete your account at any time, including all photos and details.

Whether there is a fee or an on-screen credit depends on the project. What applies is in the licence agreement – before you sign. No consent, no use.

We are starting in Vienna and casting on an ongoing basis: after the first round, more studio days follow, and the roster grows with every film. We are looking for every age group from 18 and all kinds of people – no model measurements or acting experience needed. Once selected, we arrange a studio session with you.

Working on an AI film and need faces with cleared rights? jmomo connects you with the people in its roster. The first films are being made by 21East Films in Vienna. Write to us – we will be in touch as soon as the catalogue opens to further productions.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Signing up, applying, the studio session and the persona scan are free for you.
Will my photos be published?
No. Your uploaded photos are private and visible only to the casting team. Nothing is published until you sign a licence agreement for a specific project.
Will I get paid?
It depends on the project. Some come with a fee, others – such as festival or art projects – with an on-screen credit. What applies is in the contract, and you decide before signing whether you take part.
Do I give away rights by signing up?
No. Signing up is only an application. Rights to your likeness exist only through a separate, written licence agreement.
What is a persona scan?
A standardised photo series in the studio: neutral light, shots from the front, in profile and at an angle, different expressions, full body and a short video. It becomes your digital persona for AI films.
Can I leave again?
Yes. You can delete your account at any time. If you have already signed a contract, leaving applies to all future projects; finished films stay as agreed in the contract.
Do I need acting experience?
No. You don’t need to act for a persona scan. We are looking for real, different people.
